Use Firefox, not Internet Explorer

Posted on: September 8, 2009

Dear Windows users,

If you are reading this using Internet Explorer (any version) then you have a security risk. You need to change your behaviour now. Once upon a time your important web sites only worked with Internet Explorer. Banking, Tax, even Hotmail were all were stuck needing you to use Internet Explorer. Thankfully times have changed since the advent of alternative browsers. The latest version of Firefox means you can have a safer surf on the Internet with less risk of getting drive-by viruses and other bad things than if you use Internet Explorer. One change in your behaviour, using Firefox as your main (default) browser instead of Internet Explorer, will improve your security.

Who said security was difficult!
